Got Beef ?

If you heard about Game and Buck squashing their beef and you are one of the many fans waiting for a G-unit and Game collabo, don’t hold your breath. Game released a new track this week dissing 50 and the whole G-unit crew. According to Buck, After the Vegas incident they had agreed to keep it moving, stop the beefing and just get money. Well I guess when Yayo yoked up Lil’ Henchman Jr Game took this as an opportunity to go back on his word and start some more shit. On the track Game raps "This ain’t ’Ether,’ This ain’t ’Hit Em Up, this is a lot of dead bodies/who gonna pick them up/ we just shot the corner/who gonna drive to the truck/f**k the whole G-Unit, who lied to Buck ?". Here we go again. (Download the song here)

So, Tony Yayo slaps Henchmen’s son and gets charged, Young Buck and Game squash the beef, Game then drops a diss record toward the whole G-Unit and what does 50 do ? Leak the street single "Straight To The Bank" for his album and change the title of the album to "Curtis". Now that’s a business man. He should coordinate his album to drop around Yayo’s Trial. (Download song here)

50 also appeared on the Hot 97 morning show where he spoke on Olivia getting dropped from G-Unit, Young Buck making peace with game "he made references to himself as being his own man....and trying to make friends with people that I have issues with, I hold him in the same space that I held Game in....He’s in the same boat for having the same actions.” He also mentions no longer being on G-unit albums and that they have to do their own thing and Sha Money no longer being the president of G-Unit. Sounds to me like everyone’s favorite rap dynasty is breaking up. Check it out for yourself. (Download interview)

Check out part 2 of the interview where he talks about his album and G-unit falling apart. (Download interview)

The next day Cam’Ron calls the morning show to announce that he also changed the name of the album to "Courtesy Curtis". I don’t understand why you would want to name your album after another man and then go around saying “no homo”. He also talks about having a sitcom through Diplomat/Koch TV that’s on YouTube. Its actually pretty funny. (Listen to interview)

I’m sure by now everyone heard about the Scott Storch and Timbaland beef and im also sure none of us really care. Now, I don’t know why these two are beefing but it seems like they really don’t like each other. They both put out diss songs featuring rappers I’ve never heard of and probably never will once the beef dies down. Scott Storch recruited Nox and the Timbaland joint is featuring D.O.E. This dude is wack, talking bout "why is Scott Storch dissing a black man during black history month". WTF is he talking bout ??? What does that have to do with anything ?? The first round goes to Storch. Scotty actually raps on the joint and his boy Nox ain’t half bad. “Now you can sample drumrolls from my banana clip". Ha-ha. Take that Timbo

Here is a clip when 50 appeared on America’s Next Top Model and pushed some girl in the pool. She kept bothering him and wouldn’t leave fif alone. Some don’t agree with his actions saying he didn’t have to put his hands on her. Me ? I think he should’ve held her head under water until she stopped struggling. It wouldn’t have been as funny but imagine the ratings !

Game and Vida are still going at it. Vida went to some radio station and dropped a freestyle dissing Game. "Wednesdays male strip night so I ain’t hear from Game". Hilarious. There’s also a video of the freestyle on YouTube. Vida was fully clothed so it wasn’t really worth watching. (Download song)

It’s a known fact that you’re not a real gangster rapper unless you’re battling females and going back and forth with model chicks. So of course Game is going to answer on “Vida (They Love It)”. (Download song)

Check out the new XXL where they have an interesting article on the future of mixtapes. They talk to DJ drama about his RIAA bust and what he thinks about the state of the mixtape game. His label should put the RIAA under their promotions budget cause all they did was give him more publicity. Ever since they arrested him for selling what they thought was bootleg CD’s, Drama has been on MTV, Billboard magazine cover of The Source, and articles in this months Scratch and XXL. They should’ve held the raid off until he drops his official album later this year.

This week in the charts, Young Buck debuted in the number 3 spot and MIMS in the number 4 spot. Akon actually moved up a spot to number 5 in his 20th week in the charts as he reaches double platinum. Last week Lloyd, Musiq and Rich boy where holding down the top ten, this week they’re nowhere to be seen.

Sorry for the delay, I’ll have the latest mixtape reviews this upcoming week. Im coming back like bad crack. Ghost.
