Welcome To Bucktown : The Soundtrack was inspired by the 1975 Blaxploitation film Bucktown. The soundtrack takes the listener through modern day Bucktown aka Brooklyn, as coined by the rap duo Smif-N-Wessun circa 1994, and explores the evolution and current conditions through the eyes of hip hop Brooklyn artists. The album features production by Da Beatminerz, Ayatollah, DJ Revolution, J Scrilla, Sic Beats, Kevorkian & Suaze and hot newcomers Che Triumph and 7ven H.D.
