G-Unit vs The Game Soundscan Battle won’t happen

Just when June 24 was getting exciting with G-Unit and The Game albums dropping on the same day, we learned that the Soundscan Battle won’t be happening as Interscope has decided to push back both albums to different dates.

As we reported 50 Cent claimed he was going to push The Game new album L.A.X back, so that G-Unit could release their new group album Terminate on Sight on June 24.

The Game’s camp released a press statement to deny Fifty’s claim and assure that LAX was still scheduled for June 24.

But Interscope Records has decided to push back both albums to different dates : the new G-Unit album Terminate On Sight will be released on July 1st while The Game’s LAX is scheduled to be in stores on July 8.

After publicly announcing that Young Buck is no more part of G-Unit, 50 Cent recently explained that his verses won’t be cleared from the new G-Unit album but that he won’t be neither touring with the rest of the crew nor appearing in videos. Fifty said that Young Buck is currently recording his new solo album and working on his Cashville Records imprint.
