Foxy Brown ordered to submit DNA

Last week Foxy Brown turned down a plea deal in her battery and resisting arrest case in Florida and now Broward County prosecutors have asked the rapper for a DNA sample as they prepare to go to trial. Allhiphop.com reports that the DNA sample will be used to determine if Brown did actually spit on the owner of a beauty supply store in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Foxy Brown was arrested in February and charged with battery and resisting arrest with violence after she got into an altercation with the owner of the Queen Beauty Supply store. She allegedly threw hair glue and spit on the owner after being asked to leave the store’s bathroom at closing time.

According to Brown, the beauty supply store owner was overzealous and just looking for a big payday. She denies throwing hair glue and spitting on him, and maintains that he barged in on her in the bathroom while she was half dressed. She has also accusing the Pembroke Pines police department of police brutality in relation to the February 15th incident because the arresting officer used a takedown technique on her.

Brown is due back in court on September 24th to stand trial. If she is found guilty she could receive up to a year behind bars.
