Review :
Fat Joe has resigned a deal with EMI Music’s Imperial Records to distribute his new album titled The Elephant in the Room.
The new album features production by Scott Storch, Cool and Dre, DJ Khaled, The Runners and Danjahandz, while rappers like Rick Ross, Fabolous, P. Diddy and others make guest appearances.
"Working with Imperial is one of the greatest moves I ever made in my life," Fat Joe said. "I never made as much money in my career as I have since I went independent. The Elephant in the Room is guaranteed to be a classic."
"Fat Joe is in a zone on this album, which is now his eighth solo work and I think it’s his strongest to date. It’s truly amazing to be working with an artist that’s getting better and better over time. He’s never sounded more confident."
The Elephant In The Room is due in stores March 2008

Joey’ makes his street presence felt in a serious way with one of his best produced albums to date
On first listen you wouldn’t think this was Fat Joe’s 8th album the way he breezes out the blocks on this one. The opening track Fugitive sets an explosive tone as self-proclaimed ‘Joey Crack’ reminds you why he was donned as Big Pun’s rightful successor.
Few commercial singles on this one, but what this subsequently allows Joe to do is firmly stomp his mammoth-likened feet onto the streets of NY and cause a rupture throughout with tracks like K.A.R (Kill All Rats), CocaBaby & 300 Brolic. The already-popular ladies anthem I Won’t Tell with ghetto-soul artist J.Holiday plays as a good save for radio airplay.
Monster track The Crackhouse sees Joey fall victim to the ‘lets-get-Lil’ Wayne-on-my-track’ syndrome. And yep, you guessed it – Weezy killed him.
Production-wise, the album excels with a whole list of A-List producers ranging from the familiar names of Cool & Dre to the no longer dormant buttons of DJ Premier. (Premo fans gotta check out closing track That White)
Fair to say then that Elephant or not, the Boogie Down Bronxster aint slowing down for no-one !
Producers – Cool & Dre, Swizz Beatz, DJ Khaled, DJ Premier, Alchemist, Scott Storch Choice Track – My Conscience ft. KRS One UK Release date : 05.03.08

This guy has sucked for a long time. That’s why he needs so many cameos. He can’t carry songs on his own anymore, let alone albums. God I miss Pun. This fat ass is an embarassment to Latinos.
