| Eminem sells 741 000 copies of Recovery in its first week out |
Eminem sixth album Recovery toppped the charts this week with 741 000 copies sold according to Nielsen Soundscan. He also stormed the digital charts with 255 000 during that same period making it the second-biggest digital week since Coldplay’s Viva La Vida who sold 288 000 download back in 2008.
The 2 first singles off the album made waves on the digital charts as Not Afraid sold 379 000 downloads and the Rihanna collaboration Love the Way You Lie debuted at n°1 with 338 000 downloads.
Drake who debuted as N°1 with his album Thank Me Later last week with 462 000 units moved, sold another 156 000 copies this week.
