Eminem Live From New York City

MTV : Music Television announced today that it will air the half-hour pre-show to Eminem’s highly anticipated concert event “Eminem Live From New York City” on Saturday, December 3rd at 8:30PM ET/PT. The concert will air on Showtime, directly following the pre-show, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Hosted by MTV’s Damien Fahey, “Eminem : The Final Countdown” will give fans an up-close-and-personal look at the different facets of Eminem — the performer, the lyricist, and the producer. As the countdown to the live show begins, viewers will enjoy in-depth interviews with the group D12, as well as the man himself.

Also, in anticipation of “Eminem : The Final Countdown,” MTV2 will air a block of Eminem-themed programming, including “Curtain Call – My Greatest Hits” (hosted by Eminem), “MTV News : The Evolution of Eminem,” “Eminem On The Road,” and “Eminem’s Greatest TV Moments” on Friday, December 2nd from 12pm – 3pm, and Saturday, December 3rd from 3pm - 7pm.

The concert event coincides with the December 6th release of Eminem’s greatest hits album, Curtain Call.
