review :
This is a must see for all Eminem fans. For the first time we get a real look
into the superstar’s pre-fame days. We get to follow his footsteps in his everyday
struggles in the days when he was trying to come up as a rapper. The story is
told through a number of interviews from Em’s mother, grandmother, uncle todd,
ex-boss when he was a cook, etc. There’s also some great footage of scribble
jam ’97 where Em battles another MC before Em was well-known. Furthermore, Treach
from Naughty by Nature narrated the voice-overs which I thought was really dope
considering Em has noted Treach to be one of his greatest influences. He definitely
provides this feature with some added flavor. Seriously, for anybody who has
ever wondered what it took for Eminem to get to where he is today, you gotta
see this.
