Disturbing Tha Peace
Aka : DTP
Hometown : Atlanta, Georgia

The full Disturbing Tha Peace roster consists of :

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges : Multi-talented and multi-award winning artist has sold over 12 million albums since his debut in 2000. He is a philanthropist and founder of the Ludacris Foundation, the CEO of the successful Disturbing Tha Peace Records, he has just signed a deal to launch “Disturbing Tha Peace Presents Ludacris’ Open Mic on XM Radio in 2006. In addition, Ludacris has solidified himself as a serious actor with his critically acclaimed roles in “Crash” and “Hustle & Flow.”

Bobby Valentino : The platinum selling Bobby Valentino released his debut solo album Disturbing Tha Peace Presents...Bobby Valentino this year on DTP/Def Jam Records. The album was launched with the hit singles, “Slow Down” and “Tell Me.” His next single is the soulful ballad, “Angel.”

Field Mob : While hip-hop prides itself on being the soundtrack to the streets, Field Mob does their best to represent the country. Field Mob, comprised of Smoke and Shawn Jay, chose the name Field Mob to represent The Field, a small area of Albany where they grew up. Despite their age and lack of experience, their 613 : Ashy to Classy debut is a polished effort that features clever lyrics and solid production. The same can be said for From Tha Roota to Tha Toota, the 2002 follow-up that showed the Georgia natives collaborating with Trick Daddy and moving closer to the Outkast-esque production work they hinted at on their debut. Their third album Light Poles And Pine Trees is scheduled to be released top of the year on Disturbing Tha Peace/Geffen Records.

Playaz Circle : The history of music is replete with dynamic duos, all of whom have made an indelible impression on this genre of music called hip-hop. Over the years great acts like EPMD, Raekwon & Ghostface, Outkast and 8ball & MJG have made history by consistently releasing classic material that has impacted the lives of generations to come. With the release of Atlanta based duo Playaz Circle’s fantastic debut LP entitled Supply And Demand, Tity Boi and Dolla Boy will make history by expanding the list of seminal hip-hop duos by one more entry.

Fate : Hailing from Atlanta with a flow all his own, Fate has honed his skills as part of Ludacris’ DTP crew since the beginning. He is currently working on his solo album scheduled to be released through Disturbing Tha Peace/ Def Jam Records.

I-20 : As the clean-up man for Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace clique, I-20 is the one who gets the call when a song needs some extra punch. Such was the case on Ludacris’ smash single “Move B***h,” on which I-20 appeared with Ludacris and Mystikal. I-20’s muscular voice and hard-hitting rhymes made the cut one of the biggest singles of 2002 and gave the gifted rhymer a platform to showcase his verbal dexterity. I-20 stepped to the forefront with his debut solo album, “Self Explanatory,” released through Disturbing Tha Peace/Capitol Records in 2003.

DJ Jaycee : Acclaimed as one of the most versatile and creative DJ’s, Jaycee has held Ludacris’ down on stage for 6 years. Acclaimed for his unique mix tapes, DJ Jaycee brings his own style to the stage.

Shawnna : One of the most prolific and skilled rappers today, Shawnna fully represents for the women in the Disturbing Tha Peace family. Hailing from Chicago, the daughter of the legendary Buddy Guy, Shawnna carves her own lane with the single, “Getting’ Some.” Her solo debut “Worth Tha Weight” brought more depth than just the average rhymes of Burberry, Prada and sleeping around

Shareefa : Already being hailed as the new Mary J. Blige because of her passion in her singing and songwriting, Shareefa shines on the song “I’ll Be Around.” Originally from Newark, NJ, Shareefa will release her debut album in 2006.

lazyeye : Showing the diversity that is Disturbing Tha Peace Records, Ludacris introduces lazyeye. This hard hitting, no holes barred rock band is the perfect match to Disturbing Tha Peace’s hard hitting musical and lyrical style. Hailing from Atlanta, lazyeye is comprised of Paul Devon Lewow, Jacob Heaven, and Chris Giessen.

Norfclk : Small World, Perfect, and Brolic D are a North Carolina-based trio known for their aggressive rhymes as well as painting vivid pictures through their lyrics. While they’re inspired by 2Pac, Bun B, and Biggie Smalls, you can also hear other influences from Marvin Gaye, to Anita Baker, to Donny Hathaway. Norfclk’s three distinct personalities all have something to bring to the Disturbing Tha Peace Family.
