Diddy Facing Lawsuit
Sean "Diddy" Combs might be facing yet another lawsuit. Allhiphop.com reports that a group of writers and producers who worked with the mogul on many of Bad Boy Records’earlier hits will hit the mogul with a multi-million-dollar lawsuit for failure to pay publishing royalties.
Producer and rapper Lord Finesse, who worked on the Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 double-platinum debut, Ready To Die, said, "This is not personal against Puff (Combs). This is just a royalty and publishing situation. A lot of people didn’t get paid."
The list of potential plaintiffs
include: Clark Kent, Easy Moe Bee, Lord Finesse, Buckwild, Carlos Broady, the
Hitmen, Loon, Craig Mack, and Angela Winbush. Some of the plaintiffs maintain
that they haven’t seen royalty statements or received payment in upwards of
10 years.
