Detox : Dr Dre’s last album

Dr. Dre’s long-awaited new album will be his last.

With Detox in the making for the last 8 years, Dre says that there have been other projects in the way - more recently the upcoming Eminem album.

"We’ll be trying to get his thing done and work on a few things on my own project," Dre said in regards to wrapping up Eminem’s as-yet-titled album. "I was really hoping to have (Detox) out this year, but it’s going to have to be pushed back a while because of some other things I’ve got to work on," he continued as he said that he’s only two or three songs away from finishing it.

He also reaffirmed that Detox would definitely be his last album and he’ll be moving on to his next passion - film.
He tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper, "I think it’s time to move on. (It’s) a young man’s game."
