Dem Franchize Boyz
Album :
On Top of Our Game
Release Date : February 7, 2006

Label : Virgin

Dem Franchize Boyz have a way of turning commentary on their lives into massive mainstream trends. For example, just note the vast impact their successful first single “White Tees,” which spawned the current street trend of sporting a simple white tee, and became a an urban anthem for the summer of 2004. Dem Franchize Boyz formed in their Atlanta’s Westside high school.

As teens, Jizzal Man, Parlae, Pimpin, and Buddie put their minds and rhyme skills together and throughout high school and college they honed their vision into what it is today, a new wave of crunk “snaps music. Hot off the success of “I Think They Like Me (Remix),” Dem Franchize Boyz are all set to release their second album. Parlae, who produced two tracks on the group’s debut album, is confident that Dem Franchize Boyz’ skills far exceed that of an urban fashion trend. “We’re what’s happening,” he says. “I want people to see we can stand up with anyone.”

Also joining Dem Franchize Boyz on their second album will be artists from Jermaine Dupri’s So-So Def family (including Da Brat, Bow Wow, Slim, Young Capone, and JD)..

Album is hot ! I didn’t skip a single song. It ain’t nothing groundbreaking, but the production is on point and they do they thang without a doubt. Ain’t nobody gonna mistake them for the most lyrical group, but they know they’re role in the game and they fill that role well. This album is the complete opposite of the D4L album, I still haven’t found a song I like on that one. This album pretty much kills any competition between them cause it’s obvious DFB is on another level.
