When asked what fans should expect with STREET MUSIC, West Coast Legend Defari’s sums it up very simple and straightforward “STREET MUSIC is my best solo work since Focused Daily (Tommy Boy). The title track “Make My Own” feat. Evidence, is an Alchemist-produced gem, which pretty much sets the tone for what fans should expect from STREET MUSIC. The production lineup is rounded out by Evidence, Mike City, E Swift, Superstar Quamallah and of course fellow Likwit Junkie, Babu. Guest appearances include B Real, J Ro, and Dilated Peoples.

Production was mostly handled by Mike City, as well as Fredwreck, E-Swift, Evidence, and DJ Revolution. The album has guest appearances by Dilated Peoples, Tha Liks, Channel Live and more... The first single is called "Make My Own" featuring Evidence.
