DMX, who is currently serving a 70-day jail sentence for driving with a suspended license, has left his longtime recording home of Def Jam and is headed for a new ground.
According to MTV News, once the Yonkers native is released from jail, he is Sony Music bound, where he has reportedly signed a deal. DMX has cut all ties with Def Jam after hinting earlier this year that Jay-Z’s new position at the label has put a strain on their relationship.
