DMX Jailed in Arizona

DMX was extradited from Florida yesterday by authorities and jailed in Arizona on an outstanding warrant, according to E! online.

The rapper recently plead guilty in Miami to drug posession and sentenced to time served and fined. Officials in Arizona then had 15 business days to obtain DMX or he would have been able to leave the state of Florida.

The former Ruff Ryders star was nabbed for failing to appear in court last month. He’s currently in police custody and is being held on a $25,000 bond.

DMX is facing 11 charges of animal cruelty and drug possession in Arizona. The rapper’s home was raided by police and the bodies of neglected dogs were found throughout the home. X has been arrested a number of times in the past year on a series of charges in Arizona and Floria.
