DMC AMERICAN BATTLEGROUND TAKES FLIGHT

DJs meet head-on for coveted gold turntables. The American chapter of DMC World returns for its 21st annual DMC World DJ Championship. Launching this spring, the American Battleground 2006 tour travels across the USA in search of the nation’s most talented and artistic DJs.

“Various cities will host day events allowing young spectators to experience DMC direct and inspire new members to preserve this vital art-form,” states George Cabrera GM of the DMC American Chapter.

Since 1986, the world has witnessed the best American DJs display their skills on the 1s & 2s, for first prize of Technics gold turntables. By end of summer, 15,000 fanatics will have attended or participated.

The competition concludes with the US Finals on August in Chicago and the World DJ Championship on September in France.
