DJ Drama’s Aphilliates crew and Young Jeezy’s CTE family were involved in an altercation at the screening for Notorious in Atlanta on Monday night (Jan 12).

Drama was assaulted by members of Jeezy’s entourage during the event, but walked away unscathed. This is the second altercation between Drama’s Aphilliates and members of the CTE family.

Aphilliates Music Group President La Tha Darkman said "There was a little scuffle," during the Notorious film screening in Atlanta, continuing "A little thing that got handled. Fake thugs with low self esteem want to pick on the DJ’s. We definitely didn’t initiate this though. DJs don’t go looking for beef with fake gangstas."

The previous incident between the two crews was two months ago outside of Radio One’s Dirty Awards. Roccett, a CTE recording artist, said that the argument came as a result of comments made by Young Jeezy during a video interview.

Jeezy had great success with his DJ Drama-backed Trap or Die Gangsta Grillz mixtape so the root of the problem between them is still unclear. Drama has since said that he and Jeezy had some sort of "misunderstanding," but didn’t reveal any specific details about their beef.
