DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz 16

DJ Drama is releasing a new mixtape, Gangsta Grillz 16, this spring. The mixtape is the first since DJ Drama’s arrest in January on racketeering charges. He told MTV.com, "It’s in the works. Next mixtape is going to be Gangsta Grillz 16, hosted by DJ Drama, featuring Willie the Kid and Don Cannon. We gonna drop that before the album. That’s in the works right now. It’s a couple of artists (reaching out to do mixtapes with me), I ain’t saying no names, it’s too early. But we working. The mixtape game is still here."

DJ Drama will release his album, Gangsta Grillz, on June 5th on T.I.’s Grand Hustle label.

DJ Drama was arrested during a raid of his Aphilliates Music Group offices by a joint task force and the R.I.A.A. During the raid, officers confiscated more than 81,000 mixtape CDs which were destroyed, along with computers, recording equipment and four cars. The company’s account were also frozen.
