Coolio Arrested For Drugs Possession At LAX
Rapper and reality TV star Coolio was arrested at LAX on Friday (March 6) on charges of drug possession.
45-year-old Artis Levo Ivey Jr. was arrested as he attempted to pass through security before boarding a Southwest Airlines flight to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was set to perform with Tone Loc and Shock G of Digital Underground.
According to reports, the rapper got into a physical altercation with the terminal screener before he was searched by security.
Official reports are yet to reveal which drug(s) were found in Coolio’s possession, although gossip site TMZ.com is reporting it was crack cocaine.
Coolio was arrested
and booked on a felony narcotics charge before posting $10,000 bail and being
released.
