Common new album pushed back
Common has changed the name of his 8th solo LP from Invincible Summer to Universal Mind Control.
The name change came after the rescheduling of the album’s release date from June 24th to September 22nd, 2008.
Though the album will be released in the fall, Common says he created the techno-inspired music for the summer time.
"I created this music for the summer time, it’s about feeling good... this is the type of music I felt was missing from my body of work" he tells Billboard Magazine.
The LP was produced
by in its entirety by Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes.
