Common And Alicia Keys Star In Smokin’ Aces

In their motion picture debuts, Hip Hop philosopher Common and the gorgeous singer Alicia Keys are both gearing up for the release of their critically acclaimed film "Smokin’ Aces". With the success of such recent box office hits "Stomp The Yard" and "Dreamgirls", many music entertainers have found themselves as Oscar Nominees. Common and Alicia Keys hope to carry on the current tradition and look forward to substantial movie star success.

Common and Alicia Keys are accompanied by an all-star cast. Other stars include Ben Affleck, Andy Garcia, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven, Ryan Reynolds, Peter Berg, Martin Henderson, and Taraji Henson.

The film follows FBI agents Richard Messner (Ryan Reynolds) and Donald Carruthers (Ray Liotta), and a series of rival assassins as they hunt down Las Vegas magician Buddy "Aces" Israel (Jeremy Piven). Alicia Keys will play an accurate and sophisticated assassin known as Georgia Sykes, and Common will play the role as Buddy Isreal’s Bodyguard Sir Ivy. "Smokin’ Aces" hits the theatres today, Friday 01/26/2007
