Clipse
album : Hell Hath No Fury
release date : Nov. 28, 2006
Label : Jive

The Virginia-based pair will release the much-delayed project on Nov. 28, a date that was prompted by Clipse supporters.

"The moving up of the date is purely off the demand of the consumer and the Clipse fan," said brothers Pusha T and Malice. "That’s who we doing this for right now. This album is about the fans that kept us relevant. They’ve helped us carve out our path, and we’re very prepared to go against the grain in putting out these releases. We had that confidence that not one conglomerate is gonna hold us back."

Hell Hath No Fury is the Clipse’s official follow-up to their 2002 debut Lord Willin’. Despite numerous delays and drama with their parent label Jive, the group released their mixtape series, We Got It 4 Cheap.

"The album is a documentary. This is the life of the Clipse, what we’re going through, and us spillin’ our guts, and letting the world know it ain’t been all gravy with us," the group stated. "This album, if it says nothing else, says struggle. It represents struggle."

Although the public won’t hear the album until next month, Hell Hath No Fury has already garnered critical acclaim.

"We just wanna be responsible for putting out the hip-hop that we andnour peers listen to, and that’s lyric-driven hip-hop," said the brothers. "We wanna be known as the guys who brought a balance back to hip-hop in general."

I agree with fatphil, this album is crazy. The lyricism also reminds me of past classics relased around 94/95, Cuban Linx especially as this album breaks new ground, the lyrics are razor sharp and of course the whole cocaine/crack rap concept. So if you love straight up raw lyricism and gritty production you’ll love this. All true hip hop heads should own this album

Yo y have both of you posted your ting twice ???Anyways the Clipse are the shit. They missed out alot in the last 4 yrs.Man 4 fucking yrs while sucker mutherfucker bitches like Chingey,Pitbull,Nelly etc have enjoyed themselves for no reason-4 doing shit shit and even more shit.Neptunes are the best producers, its just that simple even though Alchemsist has always nearly changed my mind and Hi Tek is crazy along with 9th but Pharrell and Chad can make ure mind turn and turn wiv the snears, kicks, trambones, hits, hats, shakers, piano’s,violins, guitars, square leads and everything else that they use.I produce and engineer myself so thats how Ive studied their instruments.Best tunes have to be Whamp Whamp,Hello New World and Trill.Thats Neptunes at their best 4 sure.....

Damn !! This album is hot as hell, absolute classic material. It has already been given a XXL rating in XXL magazine, and I think it deserved it, I hope it gets 5 mics in the source. The neptunes have switched up their production skills for this one, and they’ve never sounded better, neither have the clipse, their lyricism on this album reminds me of the classic albums released in 94’/95’ (Ready 2 Die, Illmatic and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx spring to mind). Classic LP.
