Cee-Lo Green Lady Killer
Release date : November 9, 2010
Since dropping his last solo album in 2004 with Cee-Lo Green… Is the Soul Machine, this singer/rapper focused on his Gnarls Barkley project with Danger Mouse. Following the duo’s The Odd Couple release in 2008 and subsequent tours, Cee-Lo went slightly off the radar.
The apparent reason for that was two-fold. He reunited his original group, Goodie Mob, to play select dates around the country throughout 2010.He also began working on his third proper solo album, Lady Killer. It’s not clear if this project will include the tracks he had worked on with Jazze Pha for their Happy Hour record, but Lady Killer does feature the smooth, summery single "I Want You." And if that track is any indication, it appears Cee-Lo has again embraced the funky, soulful sounds of the ’60s and ’70s.
