JAY-Z TO PERFORM SECOND ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

Jay-Z fans shut out of his sold-out show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall are getting a second chance to see the rapper perform Reasonable Doubt in its entirety. The reigning Def Jam President has a "special preview rehearsal performance" scheduled for Saturday at the Nokia Theater in Times Square. There, a limited number of fans will get to see a preview of the show that commemorates the 10th anniversary of his debut album. The Roots Ahmir " ?uestlove" Thompson will serve as the musical director on both nights. Tickets for the preview go on sale through Ticketmaster Friday (June 23) at 5 p.m.

Although, the exact details of the preview show haven’t been announced as of press time, fans can expect it to be distinctly different from Sunday’s primetime concert at Radio City. ?uestlove of The Roots will serve as the musical director for Sunday’s show.

Jay-Z’s, Reasonable Doubt was released on June 25, 1996, which is exactly 10 years before Sunday’s concert date. Reports say tickets for the album’s original concert sold out in 2 minutes and are now being scalped for up to $3,000.

Def Jam President will be embarking on a massive world tour this summer taking him through Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, UK, Ireland, France, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.

There will be four dates on the UK leg of the tour at the following venues :

Thu 21 September 2006 - Manchester, M.E.N.
Fri 22 September 2006 - Glasgow, S.E.C.C.
Sat 23 September 2006 - Birmingham, N.I.A.
Sun 24 September 2006 - Wembley Arena
