"The Barry Adrien Reese Story is Cassidy’s third album. The first single, "My Drink N My Two Step", was leaked to radio in June 2007. The second single has been confirmed to be "Cash Rules" featuring Eve & Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. It was produced by Cassidy himself.

Production will come from Swizz Beatz, Neo Da Matrix, Scott Storch, Timbaland, Cool & Dre and Cassidy himself. Guests will include Beanie Sigel, Fabolous, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Eve, John Legend and Rell take guest turns as well.

I’m curious... how is he a Christian now ? Did he just recently become a Christian ? It’s disappointing. There is nothing in the nature of those songs that spells Christianity (self worship is the worst)... not even the ones that do mention God... why ? ’Cause all the other ones (even if it’s just a single one) wiped it out. I heard him freestyling about God and I was really happy (’cause he really sounded like he spoke from his heart and he knew what he was talking about), but then I find this and every other song is a major contradiction. He might as well not have said anything about God. It only further pushes a license to say you love God, yet keep the right to talk trash ! He might seem to have done a better job than other rappers, but do we understand that the standard of truth is set by God according to His word and not by us ? I know we can get that, but sometimes, we just don’t want to. I mean it’s one thing to be in a process and truly be on your way, but man, it’s a hard hit to sound completely the other way in the same breath... and produce it. I mean, you talking about praying and all... did you pray before putting this album out knowing it’ll hit millions of ears... and did God say "yeah that’s cool, I approve of everything in it" ? See my point ? If you goin’ do whatchu goin’ do anyway, at least don’t blaspheme. Cass is talented, but Music and words are powerful- they are great influential gifts with responsibility. Peace
