Cam’ron shot in arms following an attempted carjacking

US rapper Cam’ron needed hospital treatment after being shot in a botched attempt to steal his car. New York rapper Cam’ron was shot and wounded during a botched carjacking near a Washington night spot, his manager said yesterday. The artist, who was recovering at hospital, had stopped at a traffic light after midnight when a man attempted to steal his Lamborghini, said manager Big Joe.

When Cam’ron refused to give up the car and attempted to drive away, the gunman fired a shot that passed through both of Cam’ron’s arms, said a spokesperson for his label, Diplomat Records. "I’ve got the car and my jewellery with me," the rapper told the station. He said the assailants appeared to be "amateurs."
