| Dipset is back! |
The long feud between Diplomats members Cam’Ron & Jim Jones is officially history. MissInfo got the scoop as the 2 Harlem rappers called hier together.
Jim Jones started by apologizing publicly to Cam : "You’ve known us from back when we didn’t have what we have now, so you remember, that above all, me and Cam, we still brothers. And we’re building on getting back on track, but first, I apologize for being a rude brother, for saying things publicly without first trying to handle them privately. I needed to clear my conscious before we work on building a bigger and better movement. Plus, consider it fair warning to everyone else".
He also apologized to the members of his crew that were hurt by this feud by adding "I didn’t realize at the time, I was venting but it wasn’t all about me. There were other people whose dreams were also part of this movement".
Cam’Ron recently joined Jim Jones as a teammate for the Converse Band of Ballers Tournament. The Jones Family took home the trophy for the second time. He also took time to update fans on the Dipset reunion : "We working, everything is working," he said. "Right now, we’re doing a couple of songs. We’re trying to get the business together. Right now we’re just doing music."
Damon Dash who worked with both artists during his days as CEO of Roc-A-Fella Record and more recently as an independent producer with the BlakRoc project has already praised this reunion while interviewed by MTV News: "I’m more happy than anything that they’re friends — that they were able to salvage their friendship, if that’s the case," Dame said in an interview. "I think they’re better than me for that: being smart enough and humble enough to apologize to each other and move forward. I really do hope that where I failed to be the right example, that they can be that. You always want the people ahead of you to do better than you anyway. For that, I gotta give them props for being men above anything."
