Customer Review :
When this album came out, heads had only gotten a taste of the Black Moon. A few years after the release of "Enta Da Stage", came this uniquely appropriate ablum. One thing about the B.C.C, they have (well, HAD) one of the greatest production teams of the early to mid 90’s ; Da Beatminerz. So it was only right to remix hits after hits. In my eyes, I see this release as more of an EP, rather than a full LP, where more than half the tracks are remixes of "Enta Da Stage" hits. In fact only 5 are original songs.
For one thing, the U Da Man Remix (track #5) feat. Smif-N-Wessun is one of
my favorite B.C.C tracks. It’s absolutely captivating.
Also the I Got Cha Opin Remix (track #8), was used in the video and is also
much better than the original (not to say the original wasn’t bangin’, I love
that track, this one’s just much better).
As for the rest of the remixes, I honestly think that the originals are all
much better. But hey, they’re still good tracks, and you won’t know if you don’t
try.
The original songs on this album are all pretty dope, especially Headz Ain’t
Redee w/ the whole B.C.C (track #11).
Bottom Line : A perfect album for any fan of Black Moon or
the B.C.C.
