Birdman and his brother Slim face Marijuana and Gun Charges

Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan "Birdman" Williams and his brother "Slim" were arrested in Kingsport (Tennessee) on November, 27 and charged with possession of marijuana. They’re also facing possible weapons charges.

Kingsport Police Cpl. Tim Horne said he stopped the vehicle after seeing it force a tractor trailer into the emergency lane on Interstate 81.

Horne said he could smell marijuana from inside the rented RV and located about a pound of marijuana in a trash can in the kitchenette after obtaining consent to search the vehicle.

People traveling in the RV included Birdman’s wife, and road manager, Shahid Muhammad among others. According to the police all other people arrested are somehow employed by Cash Money Records.

Cops also found a 2-23 carbine assault rifle, a 9mm handgun and a magazine for .45-cal. handgun. The RV was moved to a secure location in order to allow for a more thorough search.

As of now, no gun charges have been filed and the ATF is assisting in the investigation.

Birdman aka Baby is currently starring in the 100 million Video along with Rick Ross, Dre, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled.
