Big Noyd
Album :
Co-Defendants, vol 1
Release Date : April 24, 2006

Review :

A member of the tight-knit Mobb Deep family, Big Noyd has been a Queensbridge legend since his opening line on the Mobbs song "Give Up The Goods (Just Step)". First getting shine way back in 93 on Mobb Deeps debut album, "Juvenile Hell", Noyd continued to make show-stopping appearances on nearly every following Mobb Deep album. His 1996 debut album, "Episodes of a Hustler", was released during a period of incarceration for the infamous Big Noyd. Nevertheless, many consider it a classic. He returned with his sophomore album in 2003, "Only The Strong (Survives)", again in 2004 with "On The Grind" and most recently his Traffic Entertainment venture "The Stick Up Kid". His latest offering, "The Co-Defendents" picks right up where "Stick Up" left off. Usual suspects such as Prodigy and Havoc of Mobb Deep, Infamous Mobb, Ill Bill (Non Phixion & La Coka Nostra), Rick Rude, and Seb appear as well as Rapper Noyds newest "Co-Ds" : Flame Killer, Trez and Sola. Once again Queensbridge comes correct from vets to new acts, with one of their legendary ambassadors holding it down as always.
