Customer Review :
"Lifestylez ov da poor and dangerous" by Big L is so very close to
being a hip hop masterpiece, but it unfortunately falls just short of the line.
Now it’s not any problem with Big L because the flow and lyrics he puts down
on this album are amazing. The real problem with this album are beats, while
songs like "Put it on", "No endz, no skinz", "Street
struck", and "Fed up with the bull..." are masterpieces, most
of the others on the album fall short beatwise because alot them are just flat
out boring. But Big L’s talent definetly makes up for the lack of beats on some
songs, which makes it worth a listen for any rap fan new or old.
