Big Boi’s solo project
Big Boi is working on his solo debut for release next year. Despite Andre declaring at the end of the summer by stating the band were possibly working on a new album with Dr Dre, Big Boi’s move appears to be a strike for freedom. He says of the LP, "You’re going to get something from every genre, every funk, beat, loop, horn, whistle. We got it all on the record," said the Outkast member. "I got maybe 35 beats already done for it now, so I’m just diving in and trying to carve out the pie with the vocals."
