It is being reported that Beyonce is planning to retire from the music industry after the release of her new album.

Just two weeks after she reportedly married her long-time boyfriend Jay-Z, the New York Daily News claims she told her cousin, Angelica Knowles, that her new album "B" will be her last as she prepares for the role of talent scout for Jay-Z’s new label, The Carter Music Group.

It was recently revealed that Jay-Z was on the verge of signing a $150 million deal with Live Nation Inc. which would bankroll all his endeavours in the music industry for the next 10 years, including publishing, licensing and his Roc Nation company, which is rumoured the be the base for his new record label, music publishing, talent consulting and managing projects.

It is also rumoured that Beyonce’s first act will be R&B artist Chelsea Thomas.
