Assault Complaint Against Eminem Dropped

The man, who claimed that Eminem assaulted him in a Detroit strip club bathroom last week, has withdrawn his complaint according to MTV.com.

The Detroit Free Press says that local police are investigating a fight at a strip club on Detroit’s 8 Mile Rd. that allegedly involved Eminem. Police said an assault occurred around 1:15 a.m. Thursday at the Cheetah club, but have not released the names of any of the people involved. Cheetah’s representatives confirmed that a fight occurred at the club and that Eminem was involved in the incident, but would not comment further, says the newspaper.

Meanwhile, the alleged victim gave an interview to WXYZ Channel 7, a local television news affiliate. The victim, named Miad J., said he was in the men’s room using a urinal next to Eminem when another man entered the bathroom and started to talk to the rapper. Then one of Eminem’s bodyguards told the man to be quiet, and Miad says he stuck up for the other man. "Eminem got done and boom," Miad told the news. "He started swinging. I wasn’t even expecting it. I was just minding my own business, taking a leak."

Miad said Eminem left the club after the scuffle and Cheetah’s bouncers threw out the rapper’s bodyguards. Right now, police simply want to speak to Eminem about the case and no charges have been filed.
