Andre 3000 Arrested For Speeding
Outkast’s Andre 3000 was arrested on a suburban highway in Atlanta on Saturday (March 28) after police clocked him doing 109 mph.
According to authorities, 33-year-old Andre Benjamin was caught speeding in his 2007 Porsche Carrera through a 65 mph zone on the I-75.
The rapper is alleged to have told police he was speeding because he had missed his exit and needed to turn round, indicating he was on his way to a birthday party.
Benjamin was arrested
and free after posting $1,200 bond. He is due court on April 29 to face the
charges.
