Amy
Weber
actress and bikini model
Beautiful actress and cover model Amy Weber has shown tremendous versatility in her many on-screen roles, which comes from her years of hard work, study of her craft, and natural talent.
Amy’s easygoing
nature and toned physique have led to a number of television roles --- including
the now-famous character of “Porcelain Bidet” on the hit FX series,
“Son of the Beach”. Since her recurring role on the ABC soap “Port
Charles” helped launch her acting career, she has also appeared on “CSI”,
“Seventh Heaven”, “Melrose Place”, “High Tide”
and the daytime soap “The Young and the Restless”, as well as on
“Silk Stalkings”, “Nightstand”, “Pacific Blue”,
and “USA High”. She has also appeared on “The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno”. Amy Weber has also acted in a number of films -
including appearances in films with David Spade, Pauly Shore, and “Art
House”, in which she had a starring role opposite MTV’s Adam Carolla and
Chris Hardwick, and “Kolobus”, a successful venture for HBO. Through
her company. Amy Weber Productions, she produced and starred in “Vengeance”
and “The Strangers”. Amy Weber has just completed filming on “The
Pumpkin Carver”, and is in post-production for another feature, “Portrait
of Eve”, which will showcase her singing talents as well as her star-making
performance in the title role.
Amy Weber has also
been seen as the host of a number of popular projects, including the 2004 Lingerie
Bowl, an exciting reality-based adventure show called “Getaway”
for UPN, the pilot for a fun new series called "Spa Adventures," and
the USA Network series called “Tens”, a variety show centered around
the beach.
Amy Weber was born in Peoria, Illinois and was raised in a small town right outside of Peoria called Mapleton. She went to school there until high school, when her parents relocated to Ocala, Florida just before her freshman year. In high school, she was a varsity track and cross country athlete as well as a cheerleader.
Amy Weber was a foreign exchange student in Canada for part of her junior year. She was also active with the student body, as well as in speech and debate class. “That really comes in handy these days,” Amy asserts, alluding to her numerous on-camera roles as an actress, host, and spokesperson. Amy has always loved the outdoors.
She raced motorcycles
as a teenager and spent many hours with animals of all shapes and sizes. “I
have always brought home stray animals - everything from squirrels to wild rabbits
to foxes and turtles,” she says, “I thought that I could save them
all!”
After attending college as a psychology major at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Amy grew restless and decided to quit school, move to Los Angeles, and become an actress. Discovered shortly after she arrived in Southern California, Amy Weber’s ability as a model immediately landed her numerous print ads and television commercials including work for the Miller Brewing Co. and Nestea.
While her career as a bikini model remains in full swing, Amy’s passion is acting. At the same time, she is also taking voice lessons with plans to cut an R&B album one day. She has written on fitness and nutrition for a number of magazines, and has completed her first book, which will be released later in 2004.
