Review:

Curtis is the third studio album by rapper 50 Cent. It is set to be released on June 26, 2007.

Initially, 50 Cent said he wanted to name the album Before I Self Destruct because "it could potentially happen". However, he decided to change the title to Curtis S.S.K.. The S.S.K, which stands for SoundScan Killa, was intended to show the pressure he feels to succeed. The title was later changed to Curtis. It has been reported that he wants to save the initial title (Before I Self Destruct) for his final album on Interscope Records (excluding a possible greatest hits album).

On January 4, 2007, 50 Cent said the album was "80% done". G-Unit’s DJ Whoo Kid suggested that it may be a two-disc album; the first being "club-banging ridiculous" and the second being "hardcore killer shit". 50 Cent confirmed that the album will be just as aggressive as his previous albums Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre.

Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Robin Thicke, and Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls have all been confirmed to appear on the album. New York rapper Papoose has also stated that he would "be honored" to work with 50 Cent on his album.

A new track was leaked on April 27 called "Fully Loaded Clip", produced by Havoc.

Producers : Dr. Dre, Eminem, Rich Harrison, Scott Storch, Timbaland, Akon, Jonathan Rotem, Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, will.i.am, Pharrell, Polow Da Don, DJ Scratch, Just Blaze, DJ Whoo Kid

Update : 50 Cent’s new album, Curtis, will now be released on September 11, 2007. Because of the Labor Day holiday on Monday September 3rd, the decision was made to push the release one week so that it is available everywhere at 10am on day of release.
