50 Cent had some words with Cam’ron and Styles P yesterday while appearing as a guest on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show.

Allan Grunblatt, Koch Records’ General Manager, and Cam’ron phoned into Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 show in New York to challenge 50’s claim that he could shut down the label. After mocking Grunblatt and asking him if he wanted to be on the air like an artist, Fif straight herbed the executive, ordering, "Put Cam on the phone !" The conversation between began cordially, but quickly escalated when Cam demanded numbers. Cam was angry regarding 50’s recent comments on independent artists releasing their albums on Koch Records saying previously that Koch was known in the industry as a "graveyard" for artists.

"I wanna see you shut down a Diplomat project," Cam’ron told Fifty. "How much Lloyd Banks sold ?" "He’s at 300,000," Fif replied. "And he’s on a major and Jim is at 300,000 and he’s independent and he came out way after Lloyd Banks," Killa responded before laughing hysterically. Cam then hogged the rest of the interview, talking over Fif and Angie without letting them slide a word in. "Curtis, how much Mobb Deep sold this year ?," he demanded. "You getting ready to cause a whole other situation, watch this," 50 warned.
"Cuuuuuurrrrrttttiiiiss, Cuuuuuurrrrttiiiisss, how much did the Mobb sold Currrrrtiiiisss ? I wanna hear numbers, nigga," Cam then shouted, at which point he was cut off. Jim Jones later called the station to assure listeners that nothing was going down and that it’s only "aggressive competition".

Well, it seems that 50 misses the competition. When asked by Angie what would happen if his next album wouldn’t sell as expected, the G-Unit Boss said that he would still be on the top of the game.

50 Cent also had a conversation with Styles P and claimed that he’d be willing to broker a new deal for Styles, who is now a free agent. Meanwhile, Styles acknowledged Fif’s accomplishments, but charged Fif for forgetting where he’s from. Styles explained. "When I hear you laugh that ’Preme got convicted, you can’t laugh at stuff like that. That ain’t right, bra. We supposed to be from the hood. You can’t laugh at brothers that get convicted." "Come back to the streets, bra," he later added.

50 Cent said that he seriously wanted to sit down with Styles about possibly doing some business with him.

I can speak from experience, Cam is alright, and so is 50. But you gotta remember the songs from the beginning, before the industry made them something they aren’t. Cam’ron, great albums, confessions of fire, Come Home with Me, he was a much more meaningful artist back then. 50 Cent, singles like Many Men, Wangsta, etc., that was good stuff.
