On Thursday night (August 9), 50 Cent ran into the G-Unit offices in New York after his planned third single featuring Robin Thicke leaked in both audio and video form.

According to sources, Follow My Lead wasn’t supposed to be released until further down the line for his album’s Curtis run, especially since 50 has videos for I Get Money and She Wants It already in rotation.

MissInfo reports on her blog that according to her sources the leak of 50’s collaboration with Robin Thicke has landed on the internet because of someone allegedly within Interscope.

That’s some very bad news and one can easily understand why Fifty was so upset about his label : Follow My Lead is supposed was planned to be his third single and would have been released in october to push the album following his current single with Justin Timberlake. And now it’s on YouTube a month before Curtis drops...
In addition, it is not only a single leak but even a video leak of the track. Looks like someone is not trying to help Fifty’s album right now.

According to various sources, 50 cent reportedly erupted in the offices, ripping out a plasma TV, throwing his cell phone through a glass window and saying that he was going on vacation and would now boycott the media promotion plan.

Now that is out anyway, you can watch 50’s Follow My Lead Video.

We’ll keep you updated on this story, stay tuned.
