According to local media, the 26 year-old man who says he lives at 50 Cent mansion in Farmington, told authorities that Adolfo Yepez, 25, pushed him and stole his $100,000 diamond platinum chain he received from the G-Unit boss during a dispute.

No one was hurt during the incident that took place near 36 High Street, at 1:50 a.m. police said.

Dwayne McKenzie denied firing the gun but after Police checked the gun but three rounds were found missing. The gun which McKenzie has a permit for, was found in his pants pocket.

Adolfo Yepez ran into the path of a police sergeant who took him into custody and recovered the chain. He told authorities that McKenzie pulled out a gun and waved it in the air during the argument. He said he started running and heard a blast as he ran.

McKenzie faces one count of unlawful discharge of a fire arm and first-degree reckless endangerment, while Yepez has been charged with third-degree robbery.

Both men are currently free on bond and are scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Hartford on August 14.
