One week after we reported that 50 Cent and Cam’ron had some words while 50 was interviewed on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show, the beef has started and the war is on between G-Unit and Dipset.
Fifty released his diss track called "Funeral Music" in which the G-Unit boss simulates the mourning of Cam’ron. But no only did 50 Cent released an audio track but also a video that makes the threats of violence aimed at Cam even more realistic. Looks like after getting at Ja Rule career Fifty has some kind of experience and self-made marketing skills that make his diss game very strong.
Cam replied with his own diss track called "Cuurrttiissss" in which the Dipset general takes several shots at 50 including his appearance, rhyming, "He looks like a gorilla, with rabbit teeth." Cam’ron also shouts out who he feels is a "real" dude from Queens, Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff "he ran from police/you run with police/you ain’t from South Side/ ’bout to get your mouth wide." Cam’ron also points out fellow Dipset members’ Juelz Santana and Jim Jones’ album sales and clarify their respected roles in the crew, "Jimmy ain’t the president, he’s the CEO...Juelz the underboss...I sign off like Dr. Dre" in a response to 50’s end of the "Funeral Music" track.
In recent news, the G-Unit boss called Hot 93.7 radio (Connecticut) to clarify his feelings towards Cam and the Dipset crew saying he doesn’t fear a wear between the two camps : "I’ll destroy Dipset, B, they can’t take that type of downward pressure [...] if they don’t do nothing crazy, I won’t ruin their career." Towards the end of the interview Fif told Hot 93.7 listeners that he has already spoken to other members of the Dipset camp. "Afterwards I got phone calls from both Juelz and Jimmy Jones saying ’we don’t want none of that."
Throughout the phone call to the radio station 50 also addressed his sentiments on Koch records : "They know it’s a graveyard. They sell Dipset records and they sell Barney. They’re a distribution company. This is reality. Alchemist had an album there; they don’t pay $7 an album. They just sayin’ that, they frontin’...they might receive 90 cents."
