50 Cent Ordered To Pay Child Support
According to the New York Post, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has been ordered to pay his ex-girlfriend an immediate payment of $10,000 in child support for their son Marquise Diamond Jackson after the rapper was ruled to have made insufficient payments for Marquise’s upbringing.
During an appearance at New York’s Suffolk County Court on Monday (April 16), Support Magistrate Altha V. Fields-Ferraro ordered 50 Cent to pay an additional $15,000 a month to Shaniqua Tompkins to help take care of 10-year-old Marquise.
50 Cent was joined by four friends in court and is said to have caused a bit of a scene when he allegedly refused to go through metal detectors and demanded preferential treatment.
A noticeably irritated
50 demanded VIP treatment and caused a ruckus for having to undergo security
measures upon his arrival at the courthouse. His next court date is scheduled
for June 11.
