40 Cal
Album : Broken Safety 2
Released date : September 11, 2007
Label : Koch Records

Review :

Harlem based rapper and long-time Dipset member (crew including Cam’ron, Jim Jones), 40 Cal cements his reputation as Dipset’s rising street phenomenon with the release of Broken Safety 2. The follow up to Broken Safety, which scanned 10,000+ units with marginal distribution and no Dipset features, Broken Safety 2 features core Dipset members Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, JR Writer & more. A veteran in the mixtape game, 40 Cal has achieved street based mixtape sales of over 50,000 units, propelled in no small parts by his appearances on smash Dipset albums and affiliated releases including : More than Music, Vol. 1 & 2, The Movement Moves On, as well as Diplomatic Immunity, Vol.2 (combined sales of over 350,000 units). Most recently, the streets have been chattering about his legendary battle with Def Jam artist Sam Scarfo on MTV’s Fight Club emcee battle show. Broken Safety 2 is sure to knock on every street corner and block around the country.
